Hey I'm Ian many thanks for visiting my website, I love to be behind my camera taking photos - the photo above is a rare one of me in front of the camera lol.

I live in The South of Scotland in the beautiful Tweedvalley where I enjoy getting out and about in the hills. My passion for photography evolved from my love of the outdoors, hiking with my dog and mountain biking are my main outdoor loves. I love photographing weddings as a job and I love my job, who can honestly say that! What draws me into photography, weddings especially are people and he way they interact with each other. The way we express our feelings and emotions are what interests me most. What better opportunity to capture these extraordinary interactions than during your wedding day, one of the most special days in our lives.

I like to think I cover weddings with a very relaxed and informal style of photography. I like to tell the story of your wedding day as it unfolds, from the bridal preparations on the morning of the wedding right through to the wedding meal and cutting the cake. And finally to round the day off the first few dances of the evening.
